Furthermore, Senator Nwoko reaffirmed his dedication to the creation of Anioma State, a longstanding aspiration of the people of Delta State. He underscored the importance of balanced development and increased opportunities for the populace, outlining his vision for the establishment of two new states, Anioma State and New Delta, with Warri as the proposed capital.
In a bold move aimed at advancing his goals for the Anioma people, Senator Nwoko revealed his intention to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He expressed his belief that aligning with the APC would provide the necessary support to facilitate the creation of Anioma State and address critical infrastructure projects such as the Asaba/Oko road and Okpai power initiatives. Senator Nwoko made it clear that his primary focus remains on serving his constituents and achieving tangible progress for the benefit of all.
