Lai Gidado
Alhaji Lai Gidado was born to the family of Late Sheikh G. B. Gidado, the Baba Adinni of Ekiti land in the city of Ado Ekiti sixty four years ago.

He attended African Church Comprehensive High School Ikere Ekiti.

He is a 1985 Graduate of Dramatics Arts of University of Ife, Ile Ife now OAU (Obafemi Awolowo University).

Lai Gidado is also an alumni of Nigerian Television Authority NTA TV College Rayfield Jos where he studied TV Directing and Script writing. 1991

Outside Nigerian, Lai Gidado studied social Health care management at Open University Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. United Kingdom 2008 to 2010. He also studied computer operations at the Tralee Community College Trali County Kerry Ireland Republic in 2009

Lai Gidado joined the service of Nigerian Television Authority/ National Production Centre, Ahamadu Bello way, Victoria Island Lagos in the year 1981 after a brief stint at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (RN2) Martin Street Lagos.

While in NTA, he was the General Secretary Radio Television and theatre art worker’s union between 1987 and 1994. A producer, Director and Script Writer, retired but not tired.

Lai established the first news tabloid at the creation of Ekiti State (EKITI HERALD) in the year 1996, he established Ebony Herald International Magazine in Dublin Ireland republic in the year 2009.

Ebony Herald International Magazine is a Monthly Publication available worldwide. Ebony Herald is also available daily online @ www.ebonyheraldnwes.com and www.ebonyheraldnews24.com
