Aiyedatiwa appoints new SSG, reappoints Ajulo SAN as Attorney General, Dr (Mrs) Seun Osamaye SA Women Affairs others


Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The appointment was announced shortly after the Governor resumed duty in his office, just minutes after being sworn in as the 7th democratically elected Governor of Ondo State on Monday.
Until his appointment as SSG, Dr Fasoranti, a native of Akure South Local Government Area, served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.

Similarly, Governor Aiyedatiwa has reappointed Dr (Mrs) Seun Osamaye, a renowned women’s activist and grassroots mobilizer, as his Special Adviser on Women Affairs.

This was disclosed in a press statement issued by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

In addition, the Governor has approved the reappointment of Dr Kayode Ajulo, SAN, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, alongside Mrs Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.
Furthermore, the following individuals have been reappointed as Special Advisers to the Governor:
Engr. Johnson Alabi – Power
Dr Seun Osamaye – Women Affairs
Comrade Bola Taiwo – Union Matters & Special Duties
Prof Simidele Odimayo – Health
Additionally, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, formerly the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to Special Adviser in the same portfolio.
All appointments take immediate effect, except those of the Commissioners, which require confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the new appointees to hit the ground running in delivering effective and efficient governance to the people of Ondo State.
