Appeal Court judgement: Affirmation of Aiyedatiwa’s victory, testament of people’s will – Alhaja Hon. F.I. Gidado

The Iya Adinni of Akure Kingdom and prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Alhaja Hon. F.I. Gidado, has described the Court of Appeal’s affirmation of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a testament to the will of the people.

Reacting to the appellate court’s verdict on Thursday, which upheld Aiyedatiwa’s mandate in the November 16 governorship election, Alhaja. Gidado who is also the S A on Mobilisation, congratulated the Governor, calling the ruling a divine confirmation of the people’s choice.

She extolled Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership qualities, describing him as a visionary, humble, and forward-thinking leader whose administration continues to prioritise the welfare and development of Ondo State.

According to her, “The judgment is not just a legal validation but a reflection of the collective will of the electorate.

“Your Excellency has shown exceptional commitment to good governance, and the people have stood by you.”

The S A on Mobilisation, lauded the Governor’s inclusive governance style and praised his strides in repositioning the state through impactful projects in infrastructure, education, health, and security.

“As Your Excellency continues to pilot the affairs of our dear state, I pray that the Almighty God will grant you greater wisdom, sound health, renewed strength, and divine guidance.

“May your administration record even more outstanding achievements,” she added.

Alhaja Gidado called on all citizens and political stakeholders to close ranks and support the Governor, saying the state stands to gain more from his people-centred administration.

“Indeed, brighter days are ahead under your purposeful leadership,” she affirmed.
