BREAKING: Bandits Kill 30, Abduct Scores in Niger Market Attack
At least 30 people were killed and many others abducted in a brutal attack by suspected bandits on Kasuwan Daji market in Demo village, Niger State.
The attackers, believed to be operating from Kainji Lake National Park, set the market ablaze, looted food items, and opened fire on residents.

The incident occurred on Saturday, and efforts are underway to rescue those taken captive.
The Niger State Police Command confirmed the attack, with spokesperson Wasiu Abiodun stating that a joint security team has visited the scene.
The situation in Niger State has remain quite volatile lately,, with bandits and terrorists carrying out attack on communities, abducting villagers and causing destruction.
In one of the incidence, the Nigerian Army troops repelled an attack by bandits in Babana community, killing two attackers and recovering arms and ammunition.
The military has also begun air raids on bandit-ravaged communities in eight local government areas.
