Ex Ondo D-Gov, Agboola Ajayi applauds Tinubu over Jimoh Ibrahim, Sola Iji’s diplomatic appointments

Former Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Alfred Ajayi, has congratulated Jimoh Ibrahim and Sola Iji on their recent diplomatic appointments by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen Nigeria’s international engagements.
Ajayi, in a statement he personally signed, described Ibrahim’s appointment as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations as a well-deserved recognition of his intellectual capacity and contributions to national development.
According to him, the prestigious diplomatic role would provide Ibrahim the opportunity to represent Nigeria with excellence, wisdom and patriotism on the global stage.
The former deputy governor also congratulated Barrister Iji, whom he described as a man of honour and candour, on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia.
He noted that Iji’s appointment reflects his commitment to the unity of Nigeria and his readiness to help take the country’s diplomatic engagements to a higher level.
Ajayi expressed confidence that both Ibrahim and Iji would justify the confidence reposed in them and bring pride not only to the nation but also to Ondo State.
He commended President Tinubu for what he described as a wise and strategic decision in appointing the two men to key diplomatic positions.
According to him, the duo possesses the experience and capacity to add value to Nigeria’s diplomatic relations, particularly at the United Nations and in Russia.
Ajayi further prayed that God would grant them the strength, wisdom and understanding required to succeed in the assignments entrusted to them.
He expressed optimism that their service would advance Nigeria’s global diplomatic connections and promote the country’s interests internationally.
