2027: Tunji- Ojo Hails Coalition Platform, Canvases Support For Tinubu’s Re Election

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has hailed a campaign group under the aegis of BTO coalition platform for PBAT 2027 for being a viable support group.
The Minister stated this at the week end in Abuja during an official inauguration of the Platform and award ceremony to Honorable Minister of Interior.
Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo who thanked the coalition for their resolutions and determination to support him and the ruling All Progressive Congress in the forthcoming general elections, tasked the group to mobilize people in their various localities to ensure re election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While pledging his support for the group, the Minister urged them to translate their talks into actions by sincerely campaigning and voting en masse for every candidate of All Progressive Congress during the elections, saying convincing winning is sacrosanct.
He said “I thank you for the privilege of sharing your moment with me. It’s not a right, it’s a privilege,that you’re sharing your moment and sharing your time with me. I don’t take it for granted, and in my own little way, I want to also assure you of our own little level of support for what you guys are doing.
“For me, something is more important than me, and that is Mr. President, because the reason why we are here is because he is where he is. He being there is why we are here. So we have to know that.
“There are so many groups that will come. Some groups are just Abuja groups. They don’t go to the grassroots to work. Please, let your shiny faces reflect on the day of election. Let us see your influence. Let us see your efforts. Please, let the support be organic.
“Please let this translate into votes. Let it translate into better performance for Mr. President, and let us go back to Ondo State and understand that it is not just about winning in Ondo state, but we’re talking about winning in an unprecedented manner.
“Voters’ turn out. And of course, the number of votes that we should have this time around should be ×2 or ×3 of what we had in previous years.
While presenting the Award to the Minister, the National President and Coordinator of BTO coalition platform for PBAT 2027, Hon Dr Alhaji Abubakar Adeshina Omoluwabi
commended him for outstanding performance at the ministry of interior, saying his landmark achievements cannot be re- emphasized.
‘Our purpose of coming here is to officially inaugurate the officials of the coalition with the aim of working and campaign for the electoral victory of APC from top to bottom and to present the award of outstanding Leadership to our amiable minister of interior, for the good jobs he has been doing. Your positive impact is being felt at federal, state and local levels” he said.
In his vote of thanks, Akinagbe Alayo who noted the good job the Minister has been doing, thanked him for giving the coalition the audience and support.
He prayed God continue to give him wisdom and knowledge to carry out his required responsibilities.
“Sincerely speaking, without campaigning, people are saying good things about you and the wisdom God has given you, and we will continue to pray that God will continue to grant you wisdom. We love you. People of condo state love you. And come 2031 We want to see your face again. Thank you and God bless you ” he said..
