Rep Dawodu Declares Interest To Run For Oshodi-isolo Federal Constituency I In 2027, Promises More Dividends of Democracy

Hon. Bashiru Dawodu has officially declared his intention to contest for another term as Member, Federal House of Representatives for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I in 2027.

Speaking at the declaration event, Hon. Dawodu emphasized why Oshodi-Isolo must secure a seat on the front row of the House as a *ranking member*. He explained that the benefits of ranking status translate to multiple dividends for constituency growth.

“As a ranking member, one is positioned among key decision-makers in the House, influencing plans, budget allocations, and the approval of infrastructural projects and programs”, he said.

noted that while every individual has the constitutional right to contest, the 2027 election should not be treated with sentiment. Instead, constituents should support the progressive model that has driven development in constituencies like Surulere, Ikeja, and other well-developed areas.

Lagos State federal lawmaker affirmed his commitment to ensuring that, if re-elected, his administration will bring home the full dividends of a ranking member for Oshodi-Isolo I.

The event was well attended by APC party faithfuls, leaders, market associations, representatives of persons with special abilities, the press, and constituents across all wards in Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1.
