The state REC who stood out as one of the outstanding state Returning Electoral Commissioners in the country whose state , under interrogative searchlight was adjurdged as not only being free and fair but also met international best practice to a large extent, attributed the success of the election process to the collaborative effort of all stakeholders in charge of the election in the state .

According to him, both the Inter party Adversory Council, IPAC, Transport Unions and Security Agencies, all put together including the electorates played a critical role which culminated into the success of the elections in the state.

“It was a collaborative effort by all these bodies” he enthused .

Also speaking further on the areas needed to improve upon in the country’s electoral Process, the State’s electoral umpire was rather blunt when he stated that the electorates need to keep abreast with the electoral Act, according to him, the full knowledge of the electoral Act by the electorates will surely equip them with the understanding of the law and by extension reduce most of the frictions and hitches experienced during elections.
