The Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC,has presented Certificate of Return to re-elected Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, and his running mate/Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, today at the INEC State Office in Yenagoa.

The certificate of return was presented by National INEC officer,Barr.May Agbumuche in charge of Edo,Bayelsa,and Akwa Ibom states.

Senator Douye Diri and his running mate was re-elected in the just concluded November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa State.

Diri, who scored a total of 175,196 votes beats is closest contender Chief Timipre Sylva of the All Progressive Congress, APC,who scored 110,108 and 14 other candidates was declared winner of the election.
