Reps mourn late Sulaimon Atanda Obasa

…Commiserate with Lagos Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa

The Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Dr Tajudeen Abbas has announced and mourned the death of the father of the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obas, Alhaji Sulaimon Atanda Obasa.

The announcement of the death was contained in a letter signed and presented to the speaker by the deputy chairman, Police Affairs, Hon. (Dr.) Wale Hameed during Tuesday plenary at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.

Alhaji Sulaimon Obasa,aged 83 died peacefully at his residential home on the early hours of Tuesday 21st May 2024.

Late Alhaji Sulaimon left behind his devoted wives, children and grand children.

The condolence letter to the Lagos Assembly speaker was conveyed through Hon. Wale Hameed representing Agege federal constituency of Lagos State prayed for the departed soul and asked Almighty God to give Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and the entirely family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The House observed one minute silence for the late Alhaji Sulaimon Atanda Obasa.
