Agoro Community Congratulates Deputy Gov Akpe, Pleads For Long-Awaited Road Project.

The Amananaowei of Agoro Community in Sagbama Local Govt Area – HRH, Mark Deinkoru Ekiyou (Ogbotoro The vi) has felicitated with Hon Pst Peter Pereotubo Akpe (PhD) on the occasion of his multiple celebrations.
The Agoro Monarch on behalf of the Council of Chiefs, the CDC, the Women & Youth leadership, the elders and the entire good people of Agoro Community congratulated Dr Peter Apke on his well-deserved appointment as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Yenagoa, the traditional ruler reiterated his deep conviction that HE Dr Akpe is exceptionally qualified and suitable to be entrusted with the onerous task.
He thanked the Governor HE Sen. Douye Diri for his insistence on appointing a person with such content and character as the Deputy Governor.
The Agoro Royal Highness also felicitated with the Deputy Governor on the occasion of his 55th birth anniversary; praying for more strength, longevity, and many more years of impactful service to God and humanity.
The Agoro traditional ruler also reaffirmed his faith that the Sen. Douye Diri /Dr Peter Akpe led administration in the State will reach many more Communities with road, electricity and other infrastructure within the life of the administration.
He particularly used the medium to remind and passionately appealed to the Governor and his Deputy for the award of the contract for the construction of the 5KM road from Bulou-Orua overside to Agoro community which has been severally awarded and abandoned by the contractors; with the first award and abandonment 40 years ago in 1986!
He maintained that the Agoro people are optimistic that Gov. Douye Diri’s heartfelt promise made to the Agoro people on the road during his 2nd tenure election campaign visit is still very feasible.
