ASUSS CONFERENCE 2023: Ekiti State PS Ganiyu Titilope Tasks Governments at all Levels to Prioritize Teachers Welfare. By Douglas Ahiaba

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Establishment and Services Matters Ekiti State, Mr. Ganiyu Titilope Ibrahim has Urged Government at all levels to give Utmost priority to the Welfare of Teachers for Optimum Productivity.

Mr. Titilope disclosed this to Journalists at a two days Capacity building Conference Organized by the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, (ASUSS) held at the Green Minds Hotel Utako, federal Capital Territory Abuja between 10th and 11th May 2023, with the theme,” Managerial Leadership and administrative Competencies”.

Speaking further, Mr. Titilope Stressed that Teachers at all levels of the Nation's Education Sector must be given the desired attention, incentives and all the necessary equipment to enable them perform their task with ease for optimum Productivity.

 "As a matter of fact, no Nation Can develop and Surmount its Challenges without the product of its graduates, the level of motivation for teachers will determine it productivity, and by extension the nation's level of development".

Continuing, the Permanent Secretary Charged Participants at the Conference to take the Conference Seriously, as they Shall be updated with new trend and exposed to Contemporary Skills in teaching, leadership and management.

He applauded the leadership of the union for Creating time out of it tight schedule and also Committing huge resources to host such a transformational Conference, saying that, the periodical holding of such Conference would impact positively in the nation’s education sector, Particularly the formative Stage.
