
Nigerians have been told to be patient with the present administration on the recent decision of removing oil subsidy which is currently causing a lot of public outcry across the nation .

The Catholic Bishop of Osogbo Diocese Most Reverend Dr John Akin Oyejola stated this at a Holy Mass he celebrated to mark the Solemnity of The Holy Trinity Sunday held at St Benedict Catholic Cathedral in Osogbo.the Osun State capital.

The the celebration which coincided with the celebration of Father’s Day enjoined Nigerians to bear the pains saying the quest of removing oil subsidy has become inevitable and important for interest of development of the nation .
His words “I can feel the pains of many of us over the recent decision of removal of subsidy, it is good to remove the subsidy so long that our leaders are sincere by using the benefits of fuel subsidy removal to developed the nation, building infrastructures such as good road. hospitals among others .
“My prayers is that after the removal of fuel subsidy, the Government will used the money for development of our land with meaningful infrastructures that will be visibly seen and beneficial to all “he stated .

The clergymen who said he believed that ,the outcome of fuel subsidy removal will be beneficial to all and sundry hinted that good things does not come easy urging every one to bear the pains which he said will not last long .
The Bishop who used the occasion to congratulate the Fathers in the Church urged them to take proper care of their families as the head of the home just as Christ who is the head of the church continuously taking care of its Church .
He explained that the work of Christian Fathers CMO in the life of the church cannot be easily overemphasis ,hence there is need to celebrate honored and respected by their wives and children
Oyejola hinted that he was indeed happy to see the Celebration of Father’s Day coincided with Solemnity of the Holy Trinity.
The Bishop while explaining the significant of the solemnity of Holy Trinity Sunday in the Life of the Catholic Church. Oyejola disclosed that ,God the father the Creator ,God the Son the redeemer and God the Holy Siprit, the Sanctifier are one God and not three Gods.
He enjoined Nigerians to work in unity of purpose without discrimination against each other saying God The Father ,God The Son and God The Holy Siprit worked together as One just as pray to God to continued to show mercies to the Nation and its leaders .
The Shephard of Osogbo Diocese insisted that only unity ,justice, equity are yardstick that will help in development of the nation urging leaders to implement policies that unite us not the one that divide us .
