Cabinet dissolution: Ex-Commissioner, Barr Olaniyi lauds Aiyedatiwa’s visionary leadership, pledges continued support
Former Commissioner for Physical Planning, Barrister Gbenga Olaniyi, FCA, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for the privilege of serving in his administration.
Speaking shortly after the dissolution of the Ondo State Executive Council on Wednesday, 15th January 2025, Olaniyi described Governor Aiyedatiwa as an exceptional leader and a team player par excellence.
The former commissioner commended the governor’s visionary leadership, noting that his administration is laying a solid foundation for repositioning Ondo State as a trailblazer among Nigeria’s states.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s strategic initiatives and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ondo State have inspired those of us privileged to work under his leadership. He is truly a beacon of hope for our dear state,” Olaniyi stated.
He further lauded the governor’s forward-thinking policies and his ability to galvanise his team towards achieving remarkable results, adding that his leadership style exemplifies humility, focus, and an unrelenting passion for progress.
Praying for divine guidance as Governor Aiyedatiwa prepares for his upcoming inauguration next month, Olaniyi expressed confidence that the governor would continue to steer the state towards greater heights.
“I pray that the Almighty God will strengthen and guide His Excellency as he continues to lead Ondo State with wisdom and integrity,” he said.
Barrister Olaniyi, a distinguished lawyer and chartered accountant, also reiterated his belief in the governor’s agenda for development, emphasising that Ondo State is on the cusp of a new era of economic growth and social transformation under Aiyedatiwa’s capable leadership.
