Hon.Sanusi Yaro Inaugurates STSG Bayelsa Chapter
–urges members to spread tentacles to the hinterlands.
Seyi Tinubu Support Group Bayelsa State Chapter has been inaugurated in Yenagoa with Hon.Chief Douglas Sampson Awudulu, Ph.D as State Coordinator.
The Director General of Seyi Tinubu Support Group, Hon. Sanusi Ibrahim Yaro, represented by the National Media Director, Prince Ibe Azubuike who is the Coordinator South South and South East performed the inauguration ceremony at the State CDI Secretariat, along 63 Azikoro Road Ekeki in Yenagoa on Saturday, January 11, 2025 that attracted APC members, women, youth groups and leaders of thoughts.
The Director General said the purpose of the Seyi Tinubu Support Group is to galvanize grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and charged the newly inaugurated members to be focused and steadfast
He urged them to spread their tentacles to sensitize the people in the rural areas.to embrace the movement.
The ceremony also witnessed the inauguration of the State Executives and Local Government Coordinators..
Earlier in his welcome address, the newly inaugurated State Coordinator, Hon. Chief Douglas Sampson Awudulu who is a member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly described the gathering as a declaration of believe, convergence of vision, statement of commitment to purposeful leadership, youth inclusion, national unity and sustainable progress.
He emphasized that Seyi Tinubu Support Group is anchored on loyalty, service, innovation, and people oriented leadership which represents new generation of leaders that understand the aspirations of youths, respect the wisdom of elders and believe strongly in national development through unity, and strategic partnership.
Hon. Chief Dr.Awudulu urged members to serve as ambassadors of peace, progress and positive political participation and conduct themselves with dignity, intelligence, responsibility bearing in mind that posterity will bear witness to their actions and inactions.
He assured the national leadership of STSG that Bayelsa State Chapter is ready to mobilize to deliver the mandate of the organization through lawful, peaceful and people centered political engagement.
In his goodwill message, the Principal and facilitator of STSG, Seyi Tinubu delivered by the South South and South East Coordinator, Prince Ibe Azubuike described Bayelsa State Chapter inauguration as a milestone reflection of commitment to unity, grassroots mobilization and progressive leadership as Bayelsa State continues to demonstrate strength, discipline and purpose in advancing people oriented engagement, and national development.
He commended the Bayelsa State Chapter leadership and members of the association for their dedication and sacrifice, and enjoined them to be focused, inclusive, promote peace, continuity, sustainable progress, and congratulated them for a successful inauguration.
Also speaking, the Bayelsa State APC Chairman, Chief Barr.Dennis Otiotio Odoni thanked everyone for attending the inauguration which he described as a gathering to propagate the ideals of the party and urged members to participate fully in the party e-registration exercise
He enjoined APC members to support the programmes of Governor Douye Diri led Renewed ASSURED Prosperity Agenda.
Comrade Eke Chinedu in his goodwill message extolled the great leadership qualities of Chief Hon.Douglas Sampson Awudulu and expressed confidence in his ability to steer STSG in Bayelsa State and sang the slogan “No Vacancy In Aso Rock” and urged the crowd to chorus” Baba Must Go Back for Second Tenure”.
The member representing Ogbia Constituency II n the.Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon.Godknows Obein, aka Owere who doubles as the Director Youth Mobilization of STSG while giving the vote of thanks expressed gratitude to God for making the inauguration possible and thanked the National Officials for coming to perform the ceremony.
The Glorious Dancers entertained guests at the ceremony with scintillating dance steps.
