HORROR: 16 year-old slaughtered as brother escapes in Ekiti. By Olaniyi Gbenga

For struggling and refusing to be raped, a sixteen year old girl has been gruesomely murdered by two men in Emure Local Government, Ekiti State.

The girl who went to farm with her brother was accosted by the two men suspected to be herders.

The brother of the girl was said to have escaped from the scene but she was unlucky as the rapists held grip of her.

It could not be confirmed whether she was raped before she was slaughtered like a ram.

A resident of the town, Mr Olu okeya said the two suspects have been arrested.

When contacted, the Police Spokesman in Ekiti, SP, Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident adding that he would give details shortly.
