KBSG Organizes Capacity Building Workshop for Jumu’ah Mosque Imams


The Kebbi State Government under the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has successfully conducted a capacity building workshop for Imams of Jumu’ah Mosques in Zuru Emirate.
The gathering which was convened in the Jumu’ah Mosque, Zuru, on Saturday, was attended by Hon. Muhammad Bala Isah S. Kudu, the Talban Zuru and the chairman of Zuru Local Government.
Also in attendance were the commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Aliyu, and the governor’s special adviser on Religious Affairs, Engr. Imrana Ibn Usman.
Imams from various Islamic Groups including Tijjaniyya and Izala Movement participated in the workshop.
The programme was held with mutual understanding and brotherhood in line with the advocacy of Governor Nasir Idris of Social Cohesion and Tranquility.
Contributors to the discourse commended the incumbent administration of Kauran Gwandu for remaining resolute to the promotion of unity and harmony among adherents of religious faiths and creed throughout the state.
They prayed Allah to continue to guide and protect leaders at all levels and strengthen the bond of togetherness among the citizenry.
