Man, 27 nabs in Possession of Illegal Firearms in Osun. By John Dike

A 27 -year old man, Oyelade Lukman has been apprehended by operatives of Osun state Amotekun for being in possession of illegal firearms

The suspect was arrested at Ajijola Anabi Area, in Ede, Osun State following a tip off

The firearms found in his possession are two long barrels guns, One locally Iron Made Revolver 7 rounds barrels gun cut to size, one locally made Revolver, 4 rounds barrel gun cut to size, and one locally iron-made double barrel gun cut to size

The Osun State Corps Commander Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi who confirmed the arrest to newsmen said the suspect was arrested in the middle of the night after a complaint was lodged against him by the residents of the area

According to Amotekun Boss the suspect confessed to the crime having participated in various criminal act in the area

He explained that the suspect confessed that the firearms he used for his operations were kept in possession of one Taye Fumble, a notorious thug in Ede.

The suspect according to Adewinmbi will be handed over to the Police for subsequent Investigation and interrogation.
