MWUN PG, BUNU CONDOLES FG ON THE LOSS OF FORMER PRESIDENT, MUHAMMADU BUHARI

The President – General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi commiserates with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and Commander-in-chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces over the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, whose sad event occurred on Sunday this week.

The Maritime Labour leader describes late President Buhari as man of absolute discipline, an incorruptible character, built with the will of leadership, which characterised his visionary leadership of the country.
Comrade Bunu further describes Buhari as a man of honour, integrity, with a strong passion for the Unity of Nigeria, believing that under his watch as President, Nigeria must remain one very strong and progressive indivisible entity.
He said that Buhari may mean a lot to different groups of people and individuals in the country but the truth remains that Buhari was that a transparent leader whose love for the country cannot be overemphasized; however, he may have had his flaws as a human but that doesn’t mean that Buhari did not mean well for the citizenry and the country in general.
The veteran Seafarer and astute Maritime Expert has urged all Nigerians to mourn alongside the Federal Government, the Government of Katsina State and the good people of his home town of Daura, his entire immediate and extended families, hoping that the remains of the late President is accorded a befitting state burial and in accordance with Islamic rights.
The MWUN PG prayed that the Almighty God grant the soul of the late President Alujanna; while granting the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
E-Signed,
Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media, MWUN
