Ondo @ 50: Iya Adini commends  Aiyedatiwa, salutes founding fathers

The Iya Adini of Akure Kingdom, Alhaja Hon. F. I. Gidado, has congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the state’s golden jubilee, commending his leadership and resilience in steering the affairs of the state.

In a congratulatory message to mark Ondo State’s 50th anniversary, Alhaja Gidado praised Governor Aiyedatiwa and his team for their dedication and commitment to governance, describing their efforts as instrumental to the continued growth and stability of the state.

She also eulogised the founding fathers of Ondo State, applauding their courage, foresight and unwavering commitment, which, she said, laid the solid foundation upon which the state has continued to thrive.

According to her, the dreams and sacrifices of the founding fathers have remained a guiding light for successive administrations, inspiring development and progress across critical sectors.

Alhaja Gidado further congratulated the people and government of Ondo State, as well as Ekiti State, which was carved out of the old Ondo State, urging them to continue to uphold the values of unity, peace and development.

She, however, called on the current ruling class to emulate the progressive spirit, selflessness and dedication of the founding fathers in order to sustain the legacy of growth and good governance.
