Ondo Commissioner-designate: Ebony Herald congratulates Osamaye, Alabi
The Publisher and staff of Ebony Herald International Magazine extend their heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed friends, Dr. (Mrs.) Seun Osamaye and Engr. Dr. Johnson Jaiye Alabi, on their nominations as Commissioner-Designates by the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
According to the Publisher of Ebony Herald International Magazine, Alhaji Lai Gidado, “Osamaye’s nomination is undoubtedly a recognition of her exceptional skills, loyalty, and positive attitude as a team leader.
“It stands as a testament to your remarkable capabilities, dedication, and track record of excellence in public service.”
These remarks were contained in a congratulatory message personally signed by Alhaji Lai Gidado and made available to the press today in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Alhaji Gidado further described Osamaye’s nomination as a significant honour for a woman who has remained steadfast in her commitment to improving the lives of women across the state through her impactful initiatives.
He lauded her as a visionary leader, an inspiring mentor, and a tireless advocate for women’s empowerment and community development.
“It gladdens our hearts to see that your impressive record as a grassroots mobiliser, your passion for youth development, and your unwavering commitment to progress continue to receive the recognition they deserve. You are indeed a shining example of selfless leadership,” he added.
Similarly, Ebony Herald International congratulates one of its own, Engr. Dr. Johnson Alabi, on his nomination as Commissioner-Designate by the Ondo State Governor.
Alhaji Gidado described Engr. Dr. Jaiye Johnson Alabi as a passionate advocate of true democracy who has, on several occasions, taken courageous steps in defence of democratic ideals.
He extolled Alabi’s virtues as a principled leader, a bridge-builder, and an exceptional strategist whose leadership and technical expertise have left indelible marks across many sectors.
“Alabi is a true democrat, a resolute fighter for his convictions, a go-getter, and a grassroots mobiliser. His unmatched dedication to public service, his unwavering courage in the face of challenges, and his brilliant contributions to community advancement have set him apart as an exemplary leader,” he said.

Alhaji Gidado also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for counting the nominees worthy of inclusion in his cabinet, describing it as a wise and commendable decision.
He offered prayers for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Engr. Dr. Jaiye Johnson Alabi in his new role.
