Pandemonium as Man who Beheaded Brother, Died in Ondo

Tragedy has deepened in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State as Emmanuel, the man who allegedly beheaded his brother, Daniel, has reportedly died from injuries sustained after being lynched by an enraged mob.
The gruesome incident occurred on Monday evening around the Origbara River axis, throwing the quiet community into confusion and fear.
According to residents, the suspect, Emmanuel, was caught by locals shortly after committing the act. He was severely beaten before being handed over to the authorities.

A reliable source said Emmanuel was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but eventually succumbed to the injuries.
Confirming the latest development, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo State, DSP Olayinka Alayande, told our correspondent, “Yes, the suspect died in the hospital.”
Residents remain shocked by the fratricidal violence, which many say has no clear motive.
“Till now, we don’t know what exactly happened between them. It’s disturbing and strange,” a local source said.
It was gathered that the two were stepbrothers and sons of a popular community vigilante member fondly known as “Awilo.”
The motive behind the gruesome killing remains unknown, and the community is still reeling from the double tragedy.
