Rector Felicitates with Polytechnic Community on Yuletide

Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji,, Ondo State, Dr. Ademola I. Ebeloku, has facilitated with the entire Polytechnic Community, Nigerians and the whole world, on the commemoration of this year’s Christmas celebration.

The rector, in a press statement to journalists, said Christmas is a symbol.of the birth of Jesus Christ, urging every Christian faithful should emulate the virtues of love, humility, tolerance, perseverance and compassion as exemplified by Him.

Ebeloku noted that the outgoing year has been filled with lots of challenges and uncertainties, but it has pleased God Almighty to be merciful to us all.

He advised all and sundry to embark on the journey towards year 2026 with renewed hope, dedication and commitment to excellence.

The statement reads in full:
“Let me on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and Students of our great Institution felicitates the entire Polytechnic Community, most especially the Christian faithful around the world, on the commemoration of this year’s Christmas celebration which symbolises the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“In celebration of this yuletide season, I admonish us to emulate the virtues of love, humility, tolerance, perseverance and compassion as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

“The outgoing year 2025 has been filled with lots of challenges and uncertainties, but it has pleased God Almighty to shower us with His Mercies, Kindness and Protection without any hindrance.

“As we embark on the journey towards year 2026, I wish to appeal to all and sundry to look forward to the new year with renewed hope, dedication and commitment to excellence. I pray that the new year will usher us good tidings.

“I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.”
