Royal Farewell: Families announce 4-Day burial programme for Princess Olajumoke Ajanaku


The royal families of Musa-Ajanaku, Adegbite, and Amudipe have released the programme for the Burial Outing Ceremony and Celebration of Life in honour of a great matriarch, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Princess Olajumoke Eunice Ajanaku (Asabi) née Adegbite, who departed this world on 28th July 2024.
The burial arrangements, as announced by the families, are as follows:

Day 1
Wednesday, 18th December 2024
Commendation Service: Emmanuel Anglican Cathedral, Oke Esa, Ado-Ekiti, at 10 a.m.
Reception: Ekiti Elder Resort, New Pavilion, along New Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti.
Day 2
Thursday, 19th December 2024
Mama’s body leaves MBell Funeral Home, Irowo Street, Akure, for her Oba-Ile residence at 9 a.m.
Christian Wake Keep: EjiOba Grammar School Field at 4 p.m.
Artistes’ Variety Night: Hilltop Royale Resorts, Oda Road, adjacent to Psychiatric Hospital, at 7 p.m. prompt.
Day 3
Friday, 20th December 2024
Burial Service: RCCG Regional Cathedral (Jesu House), Oke-Ijebu, Akure, at 10 a.m.
Private Interment: At her Oba-Ile residence mausoleum.
Reception: Bass Event Centre, Akure-Owo Expressway, at 1 p.m.
Day 4
Sunday, 22nd December 2024
Thanksgiving Service: Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, Oba Adesida Road, Akure, at 10 a.m.
Reception: Lisa Farms Resorts Arcade, Agolisa Amudipe, Km 4, Old Akure-Ondo Road, Aponmu Road, off Adebowale Junction, opposite the Army Barracks’ Second Gate.
