The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially announced the sighting of the crescent moon, marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to a post by Inside The Haramain, a publication focused on the Two Holy Mosques in Islam, the crescent was sighted on Friday, confirming that Saturday, March 1, 2025, will be the first day of Ramadan.
