Sex, core assignment in marriage – Rev. Stellamaris Ajetomobi reveals

Vice President of The Men of Issachar Vision Inc., Rev. Mrs. Stellamaris Ajetomobi, has sparked conversation after sharing her views on marital roles, describing sexual intimacy as the “core assignment” in marriage.

Speaking on the subject of marital responsibilities, Ajetomobi said intimacy was the key reason she chose to marry, noting that her needs were already met before marriage except for that aspect.

“Sex is marriage, sex is marriage. In my father’s house, I used to wear clothes, eat rice and other foods.

I had a house to live in everything. What do you think I came to look for in my husband’s house? It’s sex,” she said.

She stressed the exclusivity of intimacy within marriage, explaining that her husband is the only person she has the liberty to share such closeness with, adding that the marriage certificate symbolises that commitment.

Ajetomobi also clarified her stance on domestic responsibilities, saying her husband could assist with household tasks such as cooking, washing clothes and helping children with homework.

However, she insisted that intimacy remained her primary marital responsibility and one that cannot be delegated.

Her remarks have since generated discussions on social media and among faith-based audiences about expectations and roles within marriage.
