STATE DINNER: HIGH PROFILE PERSONALITIES EXTOL THE LEADERSHIP VIRTUES OF SARKIN FULANI JOBE, HCIB
Renowned Politicians, legal luminaries and seasoned Public Officials have used the occasion of the State Dinner to extol the moral, political, and leadership virtues of the turbanned Sarkin Fulani Joben Katsina 10th.
The dinner was organised by Gov. Mal. Dikko Umaru Raddah, PhD to mark the occasions of the turbaning of his Deputy Mal. Faruk Lawal Jobe, HCIB, as Sarkin Fulani Joben Katsina 10th and two other eminent personalities by his Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina Alh. Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, CFR which was performed Saturday 21st Sept. 2024 at the monumental Kofar Soro Palace, Gidan Korau.
The rest are: Alh. Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri (Chief of Staff) as Lamidon Katsina I, and Hon. Member representing Musawa-Matazu Alh. Abdullahi Aliyu as Dujuman Katsina .
The event which held at the Presidential Banquet Hall of the Muhammadu Buhari House in Katsina was attended by former Gov. Aminu Bello Masari, Gov. Mal. Dikko Umaru Raddah, former deputy governor Surajo Umar Damari, Zamfara State Deputy Governor, Members of the State and National Assemblies, Royal fathers, Captains of Industries, as well as families, relatives and friends of the celebrants.
In an interview with HMK News Channel, the former Minister of Aviation, Hon. Hadi Sirika has described Mal. Faruk Lawal Jobe as true royal member of the famous Jobawa ruling class, humble leader, honest and accommodating fellow.
Sen. Sirika thanked the Emir of Katsina for the chieftaincy title given to Jobe describing it as a well deserved investiture.
In his remarks, the former Commissioner Min. for Local Government and Chieftancy affairs Katsina state recently appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as NSIPA Boss, Prof. Badamasi Lawal Charanchi said, he had worked with Jobe more than any other council member, as he further described him as a leader with honesty, transparency, and loyalty. “Jobe has been a partner in progress, tested and trusted one”, he added.
Also, the head of service of the State, Alh. Falalu Bawale in his congratulatory message to the new Sarkin Fulani, said, Mal. Faruk Lawal Jobe’s to the economic prosperity of Katsina State is unprecedented given his track records as S.A Budget, Commissioner, Budget and Economic Planning and now the Deputy Governor.
Earlier, the Chief Judge Katsina state, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar said the title given to Jobe fits him well because he was a true son and grand son of the Jobawa ruling class.
The first class legal luminary conveyed his best wishes to new Sarkin Fulani Jobe and further commended the foresight of the emir of Katsina Alh Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman CFR, of bringing the deputy governor closer to the emirate.
In a vote of thanks on behalf of the two celebrants, the turbanned Sarkin Fulani Jobe thanked the Katsina emirate for finding them worthy of the titles and extended warm gratitude to Katsina State Government under Mal. Dikko Umaru Raddah for hosting twin events: State Dinner and Gala Night to honour them.
