Kamala Harris’s path to victory: Overcoming intimidation and breaking voter turnout records
As the U.S. election nears, misinformation is sweeping across airwaves, largely courtesy of disinformation groups like the KGB, the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers.
These groups, desperate to see Donald Trump win “by hook or by crook,” are flooding media with falsities and misleading data, aiming to weaken the support for Kamala Harris. They even suggest that her supporters have lost faith in her victory. Where and when, I ask? No one in the Harris camp has made such claims.
This is yet another layer of lies spun by Trump and his allies to deter voters from showing up at the polls for Kamala. If enough people are scared off by his criminal gang’s intimidation tactics, then only his supporters would turn up, which, indeed, could hand him the win.
But we are determined to thwart this on November 5, come rain or shine.
This web of deceit is destined to backfire, as this election will shatter voter turnout records in favour of Kamala Harris.
Months ago, Joe Biden gracefully stepped aside, endorsing Harris as the Democratic candidate, a decision backed unanimously by the party’s rank and file. I predicted that this election would be a walkover, with Kamala poised to win the popular vote by nearly 10 million and trounce Trump by over 100 votes in the Electoral College.
The American Electoral College, with only 570 electors, diminishes the voice of nearly 160 million Americans who will likely vote in this election, a flawed system indeed.
And let’s not forget, millions of Harris supporters are left out of opinion polls, which can be skewed and manipulated, often reflecting only a sliver of current sentiment.
Steve Kornacki, the analytical powerhouse at MSNBC, provides far more trustworthy election insights than partisan pollsters whose data often reflect their biases. Opinion polling, after all, is only as reliable as the integrity of its sources and sampling size.
It’s no wonder that polling in the UK has proven to be more accurate than in America or in countries like Nigeria or Ghana, where some voters are known to be less forthcoming about their choices.
Esteemed Professor Allan Lichtman has outright dismissed the notion of a tie between Trump and Harris, branding such polling data as nonsense. I echo his sentiment, these so-called tied polls are no more than fake figures drummed up by Trump supporters.
Even Democrats are contributing to the fear-mongering, pressuring Harris supporters to donate more, as if her chances depend solely on endless funding. But don’t let them mislead you with incessant fundraising appeals.
If you want Kamala to win, ensure you vote and persuade five others to do the same on November 5.
That is my resolve, I’ve given what I can to the campaign, but I will be voting and encouraging five others to do likewise. If we all follow suit, Kamala will achieve a landslide victory, one for the history books. This race isn’t going to be close.
