Fulani Tittle Holder Relieved Of His Tittle For Banditry

Argungu emirate in Kebbi state has dethroned Alhaji Usman Muhammed Bakaramba as Maifulanin Kabi.

This was contained in a press release available to journalists and signed by the secretary to the emirate, Alhaji Lauwali Labbo, on Monday.

The press statement said the Argungu emirate made the decision following the findings by the police that he played vital roles in banditry and other atrocities behind the scenes.

The release further explained that former traditional tittle holder Maifulanin Kabi should stop parading himself as a tittle holder of the emirate and should not relate himself with the emirate.

The emirate also called on the general public, most especially the fulanis, that they should not engage him in any activity related to the emirate.
