The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested 165 foreigners found living in a three-bedroom flat in Birnin Kebbi.
According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Nafi’u Abubakar, intelligence reports led to the discovery of over 200 individuals residing in a cramped three-bedroom apartment in the Kuwait area of Birnin Kebbi.
Acting on this information, a team of detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) raided the premises, successfully apprehending 165 occupants.

Investigations revealed that all those arrested were from Francophone countries, including Burkina Faso (35), Benin Republic (11), Niger Republic (5), Mali (4), and Ivory Coast (110).
Further findings indicated that they were residing in Nigeria without valid documentation and were allegedly involved in the Qnet Ponzi scheme.
Following the preliminary investigation by the police, the suspected illegal immigrants have been handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kebbi State Command, for further inquiries and necessary actions.
