Owo Kingdom gets new Chief Imam

A renown Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dr. Yunus Anola Al-Adaby has emerges the Chief Imam of Owo. Sheikh Yunus Anola is the current Chief Imam of the Ondo State Government House Mosque in Akure. He is also known as a Khateebul Ummah and is associated with the Al-Adaby Islamic Organisation
A graduate of University of Madinah Saudi Arabia
Sheikh Anola was unanimously announced as the Chief Imam on Saturday 1st November by the Muslim Umah of the Owo community.
The new Chief Imam succeeds late Alhaji Ahmad Olagoke Aladesawe who passed on recently.

Aladesawe was until death a few weeks ago, the Chairman Ondo State League of Imams & Alfa as well as the Secretary General of the league in Southwest, Edo & Delta states.
Meanwhile a prominent Owo son who is also the Deputy Governor of Ondo State Dr. Adelami has sent a warm Congratulatory message to the new Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom
“Dear Sheikh Yunus Anola,
I received the news of your selection as the Grand Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom with great joy and a deep sense of pride.
Your life of service has long reflected humility, truth, and steadfast devotion to Almighty Allah. You have been consistent in promoting peace, compassion, and understanding among all people, values that resonate deeply with our shared vision for a united and progressive Owo.
