Why we suspended Kebbi ALGON chairman – APC By Jamil GULMA- Kebbi

The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Chairman of Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, Alhaji Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa, with immediate effect.
The suspension was announced in a statement issued on Monday evening in Birnin Kebbi by the APC Vice Chairman, Kebbi Central, Abubakar Bello Matawalle Bunza.
According to the statement, Ambursa’s suspension followed allegations of gross misconduct, which the party said had brought disrepute to the APC and undermined its manifesto in the state.
The party further stated that the conduct and actions of the suspended chairman contravened Article 21(2)(ii) of the APC Constitution, 2022 (as amended).
Consequently, Ambursa has been barred from participating in any APC activities or entering any party office across the state for the duration of the suspension.
The statement also warned that any further violation of party rules during the suspension would attract severe sanctions, including possible outright dismissal from the party.
