Party officials described the intra-party exercise as peaceful, seamless and well organised, noting the massive turnout of political stakeholders, supporters and party faithful who gathered to participate in the process.

Key party leaders in the state said Obasa’s smooth emergence reflects the confidence the party has in his leadership credentials, extensive legislative experience and longstanding contributions to grassroots development in the Agege community.

Supporters at the venue described the outcome as a clear affirmation of continuity and progressive governance, expressing optimism that his years of experience leading the Lagos Assembly will strengthen effective representation at the federal level.
