Hon. Ebiango Egain Wins APC Primary for Ogbia Constituency 1.

Hon. Ebiango Egain has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary for Ogbia Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

Egain was declared winner on Tuesday in Ogbia town by the returning officer, Hon. Ebikitin Diongoli, after the collation of results from all wards in Constituency 1.

Speaking after his victory, the newly elected flag bearer thanked party members for turning out in large numbers to support him. He described the outcome as a win made possible by strong grassroots backing.

“I want to thank all party members for coming out en masse to give me your support and cast your votes for me today as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress to represent the good people of Ogbia Constituency 1,” he said.

Egain also thanked party stakeholders in Ogbia Local Government and across Bayelsa State. He pledged to run an open-door leadership and urged members to sustain mobilization ahead of the general elections.

The APC is expected to consolidate its campaign across Ogbia LGA as the 2027 state assembly elections approach.
