The BTO Coalition Platform for PBAT 2027 has congratulated the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on what it described as three years of exemplary and impactful service to Nigeria.

In a statement signed by its National President, Alhaji Otunba Abubakar Adeshina Omoluwabi, the coalition commended Tunji-Ojo for his contributions to public sector reforms and service delivery under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The coalition said the minister’s tenure had been characterised by visionary leadership, bold reforms and a commitment to efficiency, transparency and improved citizen satisfaction.
It particularly praised the minister’s interventions in the administration of passports, noting that the clearance of passport backlogs and the introduction of contactless passport renewal had helped to improve the experience of Nigerians seeking travel documents both at home and abroad.
The group also commended the modernisation of services across agencies under the Ministry of Interior, including the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Customs Service and Federal Fire Service.
According to the coalition, the deployment of technology through initiatives such as e-Visa, e-Gates and integrated command systems had contributed to making Nigeria’s borders smarter and more secure while reducing inefficiencies and leakages.
It further applauded the minister’s focus on the welfare, training and professionalism of personnel across the paramilitary agencies, saying improved staff morale was essential to effective service delivery.
The coalition described Tunji-Ojo as a competent and committed public servant whose leadership had helped restore confidence in government institutions.
It said, “Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has shown that with competence, integrity and dedication, government can truly work for the people.”
The group also described the minister as a loyal implementer of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, saying his achievements demonstrated the potential of purposeful leadership to deliver tangible results.
The coalition expressed confidence in Tunji-Ojo’s ability to achieve more in the years ahead and prayed for greater wisdom, strength and success as he continues to serve the country.
It however, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the minister and the Renewed Hope administration, while wishing Tunji-Ojo continued success in his public service career.
