She also served as the State Director of the National Population Commission in Ondo State, where she distinguished herself through professionalism, diligence, integrity and exceptional administrative competence.

Throughout her career, Erelu Oloruntoba served in various capacities across different locations and states in the country, gaining extensive experience in public administration, policy implementation, stakeholder engagement and institutional management.

Her pedigree and accomplishments are also rooted in a distinguished family legacy of service, education and community development.

She is the daughter of the late Alhaji Aribisala Oloruntoba, a prominent cocoa farmer and respected community leader who was a trailblazer in education and development in Ogbagi.

He founded the Ahmadiyya Grammar School, Ogbagi, one of the pioneering secondary schools in the community, leaving behind an enduring legacy of investment in the education and advancement of his people.

An alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Erelu Oloruntoba brings to her new assignment a rare combination of academic grounding, extensive public-sector experience, institutional knowledge and a deep understanding of government processes.

Her elevation has therefore been described as a fitting appointment of a tested professional whose wealth of experience will add significant value to the Aiyedatiwa administration.

With her proven record of competence, exposure and dedication to duty, expectations are high that Erelu Oloruntoba will bring her considerable expertise to bear in the Ministry of Special Duties and contribute meaningfully to the Governor’s REDEEMED Agenda and his determination to build a more responsive, efficient and people-centred government.

The appointment also underscores Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to recognising capable sons and daughters of Ondo State, particularly professionals with demonstrable records of service, integrity and excellence.

For Erelu Taibat Oloruntoba, the new responsibility represents another opportunity to continue a remarkable journey of service and to contribute her quota to the growth, stability and prosperity of Ondo State.

We at Ebony Herald International heartily rejoice with the new Ondo State Commissioner designate.

Congratulations.
