The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ahoada East Local Government Area Chapter Chairman, King Salvation Ezegwogwo JP, Ukaume I, has enjoined party members to continue to emulate the virtues of love, compassion, humility, sacrifice and love as exhibited by Jesus Christ.
King Ezegwogwo, who stated this in his Easter goodwill message, issued by his Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Information and Documentation, Comrade Oyagiri Chime-emele, Saturday, April 9th, stated that it was love, compassion and sacrifice that made Jesus gave His life to save mankind.
The statement further said that; “The major lesson in the death and resurrection of Jesus, that Easter signifies, is that there is always a Cross before a Crown.
“As we celebrate the season of Easter, I enjoin all party faithfuls to rekindle their hope in God and in the party .
“I call on party members to show compassion, ensure unity and peaceful co-existence.
“The season has shown that there is always a Cross to bear before the Crown. This should reassure us that all hopes are not lost. But should rather challenge us to work harder in unity of purpose.
The Ahoada East LGA party Chief Accounting Officer, posited that the party leadership under his watch remains loyal to the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and High Chief Emeka Bekee, as the state chairman.
King Ezegwogwo reiterated his call for total respect to party leadership at all levels.
“The party in my LGA remains loyal to our State Leader, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and High Chief Emeka Bekee, as the state chairman.
“I once again call on party members to continue to be loyal and respectful to party leadership at all levels.
“I wish you all a Happy Easter celebration” , he added.
