Encomiums as Alhaji Muhyideen bows out of service. By Abiodun Michael

It was a moment of joy and excitement as the former Director of Finance and Administration (DFA), Ondo State Library Board, Alhaji Yusuf Muhyideen celebrated his retirement from service as well as his 60th birthday on 6th July, 2023.

The well attended two-in-one event was graced by many dignitaries who thronged the Ondo State Library Event Hall, venue of the ceremony.

The Pen Down ceremony which started about 11:30am witnessed torrents of intriguing encomiums showered on the retiring Alhaji Muhyideen who was described as a very hardworking, diligent, friendly and God-fearing man by his ex workers, staff, colleagues, friends neighbours and family members.

The celebrant was further described by his workers as a team player, highly dedicated, committed and a worthy role model, saying they would miss him greatly.

They however, prayed, that God will continue to bless him with excellent health and enrich his retirement life with happiness and more successes in his future endeavours.

Among dignitaries who extolled the virtues of the celebrant at the ceremony, was the Chief Imam of Ansarul-Deen, Alhaji……

While delivering his lecture, the Chief Imam enjoined him to endeavour to rest and be more closer to Allah and thereafter, prayed for him to witness more successful and healthy years on earth.

The celebrant who was beaming with joy and fulfillment, thanked God for the grace and strength to start well and retire with accolades.

He thanked everyone for deeming it fit to celebrate him and for the encomiums showered on him, praying, that God will cause them to be celebrated too.

Some of the dignitaries who attended the event were; Director of Ondo State Library Board, Sheik Alhaji Mikail Modupeola, Chief Imam of Ansarul-deen Akure Branch, Doctor Mrs Aragbaye, Doctor Ilori, Mrs Ogunlade, Mrs Fabegbe, Engr Daud amongst others.

A little reception was used to cap up the event.
