Wife of the staff of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), Osogbo, Mr Isaac Adedeji, Eniola, who was abducted by some yet-to-be-identified persons suspected to be kidnappers, alongside her son, Alfred have regained freedom.

The mother and son were reportedly abducted in the Ota Efun area of Osogbo on Saturday evening by some unknown people who were said to be carrying arms.

According to family sources, they were released yesterday night in Ikirun, Ifelodun local Government area of the state by their abductors.
The victims were said to be coming from the Oke Baale Area of Osogbo and heading towards Ota Efun on a commercial motorcycle when a vehicle blocked their way and the occupants forced them into a bus and drove them to an unknown destination.
Our source learnt that after the incident was reported at the state Police Command, the mobile phone of the victim was tracked to Ikirun, another town in the state by the operatives.

“But before police could move in, the perpetrators had abandoned the victims and fled.
“But the woman and her son have so far, been reunited with her husband,” a top security source who pleaded anonymity said during an interview with our Correspondent.
The Osun Police Command Spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola could not be reached through her mobile phone, but a family source, confirmed the victim’s release.
It was not yet clear, if ransome was paid to secure their release.
