
Otuokpoti Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State came alive as the Publisher of Boch Newspaper Chime-Emela Oyagiri performed the traditional marriage rite of his heartthrob Beatrice Okatubo.


The event was attended by the Oyagiri’s of Obele Community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State and the Okatubo’s of Otuokpoti Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State,friends and well wishers.

At the family compound of the Okatubo’s in Otuokpoti, Mr Chime-Emela Oyagiri haven performed all the traditional marriage rite of his heartthrob according to the Otuokpoti tradition was pronounced husband to Beatrice Okatubo by Dr Geofrey Okatubo father of the bride.

Dr Okatubo who spoked with Newsmen after the pronouncement, showered encomium on his daughter describing her as hardworking, intelligent and very understanding,he further advised single ladies hoping to get marry to ensure they are self reliance.
He noted that understanding is the bedrock of any marriage and admonished the couples to see themselves as one and never to give room for third party that will create misunderstanding between them.

“Once you understand yourselves you won’t have any issue and not to take their internal issues out ,I won’t expect them to start coming to report anything to me,they should together love one another,by so doing love will always be”
Mr Chime-Emela Oyagiri who was full of appreciation thanked God, family members and well wishers for the successful marriage,described his wife as an epitome of a virtuous woman who is responsible, respectful, dutiful, humble and industrious.
The publisher prayed for as many that are cohabiting to have the willpower which he pointed out as “determination ” and not money as many may think.
He further buttress,that determination is the will to decide, noting that if one have such zeal before the person will realize God will complete the wedding process,he also hinted that paying of bride price is spiritually ordained.
According to him, prior to the wedding there were a lot of temptations and trials to the extent people taught he was faking the marriage but to the glory of God they triumph.
On her part Mrs Beatrice Okatubo said she had neither doubted the love of her husband or that the wedding will not took place even when there’s some kind of doubt she normally wave it aside.
She as well described her husband as loving, caring, selfless and a serious family man who doesn’t joke with her family, adding that she’s grateful to God for giving her a God fearing man, while praying for them to leave forever.
