The Head of legal Services, Alex Ekweme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki Ebonyi State, Eseni Joyce Nnenna Esq, has been honoured by the Institute of Medical and Health Law of Nigeria.
Eseni Esq, was inducted as a full Member of the Institute along side other eminent Nigerians at the 2023 National Medical and Health law Conference and induction, with the theme,” Maintaining Optimal Mental Health in a Distressed Social-politocal Economy”, at the Auditorium of the National merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Tuesday November 21,2023.
Speaking to the media shortly, after her induction and investiture, she said her Induction as a full Member of of the Institute was a call to Service to intensifying her Campaigns and awareness for mental stability and wellness of Nigerians irespective of their religion, ethnicity and social status.
She further expressed gratitude for the honour and recognition accorded her by the Institute, and Commended the Institute for Coming up with a theme that reflects and adequately captured the reality of the Country at the moment, describing the Conference as apt and timely.
Continuing, Eseni Esq, said the Institute of Medical and Health Law,(IMHL) as a body has Carried out several awareness Campaigns to educate Nigerians on how to be mentally alright and how to avoid situations that could be detrimental to their mental wellness. She urged the Government and other relevant Stakeholders to Compliment the efforts of the Institute by supporting it’s programs and Conferences so that the Nigerian masses Could be more Conscious of their mental health.
Among others that were also inducted at the Ceremony included, Prof.Mike A.A Ozekome, SAN, Sen. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe who was also the Chairman of the Occasion.
