The retired Army Officer called on the minister to introduce such to assist farmers who have been sent out of their various farms by herdsmen who neither kidnap them for ransom or kill them.

The dastardly act, has however contributed immensely into the current food shortage witnessed across the country, as farmers could no longer go to their farms for fear of being kidnapped.

He advised the minister to as a matter of importance, introduce community security volunteers in all nooks and crannies of the country to assist the Marshal to make their goals achievable.

Col. Saka called on the National Assembly to expedite action on the bill for the creation of state police, and called on the Government to always make use of retired Army, police and other security experts in combating the security menace bedeviling the nation.
