A 47 Year Old Businessman Stabbed To Death In Bayelsa.
A 47 year old business man known as Mr Cletus Alake, was Yesterday found murdered in his business office, Opposite Ekeki Park, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The deceased, who’s popularly called MTN man was in the business of printing recharge cards for various GSM service providers.
Eyewitness account, have it that the dastardly act may have been carried out by suspected armed robbers in the night of the 21st day of July, as the corpse with multiple stabbs was discovered by a staff of the deceased in the morning of the 22nd day of July.
It was gathered that the female staff raised alarm when she reported on duty only to discovered that her boss lying lifeless in the pool of his blood inside the office.
Ebony Herald gathered that the alarm raised by the female staff attracted neighbors and passers-by at the murder scene
We also learned the assailants made a way with an undisclosed sum of monies, phones, belongs to their victims and his car.
Neighbors in the area who saw the body evacuated said there used to be police vans stationed opposite the crime scene.
They asked, “where were they when the crime was committed and how did the criminals escape without being apprehended?
The Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, in the State, ASP, Musa Mohammed who confirmed the incident, said that the State Police Commissioner, CP Alonyenu Idu, has ordered a manhunt for the arrest of the killers of the business man.
Meanwhile, the corpse of the murdered business man has been deposited in the Federal Medical Center Yenagoa morgue.
