After years of meritorious service at Apostolic Faith Secondary School, AFSS, Akure, the pioneer school councilor Mrs. Sulaimon Esther Olushola, bows out of service .

Mrs. Sulaimon who was known for her impactfulnes  to students affairs, was specially celebrated alongside the pioneer school principal, Mrs. Ilemobola Asogbon and the former Vice Principal.

In her remarks at the events organized by the management of the school to honour retiring officers, exited Mrs. Sulaimon thanked the school for the honor, just as she affirmed that she had a fulfilled career while serving.

She also acknowledged the high moral standard that has remained the hallmark of graduates of the school, enjoining parents to give their children the best of education at Apostolic Faith Secondary School.

Earlier in his charge, the Proprietor of the school, Rev Joseph Aro ably represented by Rev. Henry Akinbobola said the day’s event is remarkable.

He appreciated the retiring officers for their commitment to the development of the school stressing that the world is revolving and change is inevitable.

He thus wished them divine guidance and success in their future endeavors.

To the new leadership, he charged them to adopt better administrative strategies and continue in the path of great leadership by upholding high standards.

He also used the opportunity to admonish the students to put in their best as the future is theirs as no heights is unattainable.

In a chat with newsmen, Mrs. Asogbon also appreciated the management saying she has no regrets whatsoever.

She admonished students to continue in the path of greatness while also charging the new leadership to build upon the legacies.

Major highpoint of the event was the presentation of gifts to retiring officers.

Mrs. Sulaimon particularly received portrait as gift from the management even as some of the old and new students lauded her for impacting their lives positively.

Other highlights of the celebration include special presentations such as choreography, dance and Christmas Carol by students as well as the presentation of the new principal, Mrs. Idowu Olagokun and the Vice Principal, Mrs. Oluwasade Alabi to the board of the school.
