
Operatives of Osun State Amotekun Corps have arrested a – 17 year old teenager, Olaniran Oladosu, an indigene of Eko-ende for attempted robbery and stealing.

The suspect was apprehended at about 5:54 a.m.. on Friday, following an allegation of attempting to hijack a motorcycle and then steal a bag in the capital area of Osogbo, Osun State.

Reports had it that Amotekun operatives who were on a routine patrol and surveillance were alerted about the victim after which the operatives swiftly swung into action and arrested the suspect at the spot where the alleged act was perpetrated.
The exhibit found in his possession includes set of Spanners, Propeller, and Chisel.
Confirming the arrest, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewunmbi said the suspect was arrested for attempted robbery and stealing at about 5:54 am during a routine patrol in Osogbo after a complaint was lodged against him.

Adewumbi hinted that upon investigation, the suspect confessed to perpetrating the act.
He appealed to the general public to always give out useful information that will help curb crime and criminality happening in the state .
The suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution
