COASUG Media and Publicity Director further explained that members of the coalition are of the opposition party but insisted that the truth must be told and who has performed should be applauded accordingly, irrespective of party affiliation.
He enjoined the people of Ahoada East and residents to encourage the LGA Boss by thanking him, stressing that if past chairmen did half of what Ben Eke has done, the area would have been better off.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Ben Israel Eke, thanked the organization for its visit and reeling out some of his projects they saw that he has done.
Eke, who said he was surprised that an opposition party group would visit him and also, laud him for his development strides, described the visit as a new beginning of mature politicking spirit in the LGA.
He urged members of the group not to let the spirit die, as according to him; ‘it will push them far in politics. It simply means, politics without bitterness.’
On the security challenges that have bedevilled the area, Eke said; “It would soon become part of history. All hands are on deck from the security agencies end to put it to a final end.
“Security is a collective responsibility, so, all suspicious movements must be reported to the police or sister security agencies at all times.”
