It was an exciting moment for members of Heroes Palace International Church, also known as “I Am A Hero, Home of Testimonies,” when the Bayelsa Media Network Awards team, led by Project Manager Mr. Mathew Ozegbe, presented the Visionary Prophet of the Year 2026 award to the General Overseer.

The presentation took place Yesterday at the church auditorium in Yenegwe, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
In his remarks, Ozegbe said the award was conferred on Apostle Odoko in recognition of his “accurate prophetic declarations and pronouncements that have brought healing, salvation, deliverance, breakthroughs and also set the captives free from strongholds of darkness.”
Ozegbe added that the BMNA Board of Assessors carried out a discreet review of Apostle Odoko’s ministry and concluded he “always speaks the true word of God as a compass for brethren to live a successful life and have eternal life.”
Ozegbe urged congregants to ignore negative attacks on Apostle Odoko, calling him a “true man of God” whose ministry is marked by miracles, signs and wonders. “Those called by God will always enjoy the backing of the Almighty,” he said.
Ozegbe also urged members to remain committed to the church and thanked them for supporting Apostle Odoko’s ministry.
Responding, Apostle Odoko thanked God for the honor, noting the presentation came during a Sunday service that coincided with his birthday. He said he had no prior knowledge of the nomination
Apostle Odoko said his church draws members from diverse backgrounds and educational levels, adding that “they cannot be deceived” if his ministry contradicted Scripture.
He also urged Bayelsans to shun the “Pull Him Down syndrome” and support one another’s success.
He promised to partner with the Bayelsa Media Network Awards to spread the word of God and win souls, and dedicated the award to God and members of the church
