Castle of Law, a leading legal firm with a reputation for excellence and justice, has announced the appointment of Professor Omoniyi Bukola Akinola, PhD as the new Head of Chambers and Senior Partner.

This leadership change follows the recent appointment of the firm’s Founder and Managing Partner, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo SAN, to the esteemed position of Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State.

Castle of Law, headquartered on Jimmy Carter Street, Asokoro, Abuja, with branches in the UK, Ghana, and Gambia, is renowned for its expertise in Constitutional Law, Corporate Law Practice, and Arbitration, among other areas.

Prof. Akinola, a seasoned legal luminary with over two decades of litigation experience, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

A Professor of Law specialising in Corporate Law Practice, his career has spanned prominent legal firms such as F U Ekavhiare & Associates (Okigwe), Late Dr. I. N. Ijioma SAN (Umuahia), and Oyewale Freeman & Co (Lagos).

He has also served in leadership roles, including Head of Litigation at Okwudiri Obigwe & Partners and as an Associate at Anene Ojinta.

His academic contributions are equally noteworthy. Prof. Akinola has served as Deputy Director of Academics at the Nigerian Law School, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Redeemer’s University in Nigeria, and the School of Law at Kampala International University in Uganda.

Currently, he lectures at Baze University, Abuja, and has numerous publications to his credit, further enriching the legal profession.

Supporting Prof. Akinola in his leadership are Ms. Ifunanya Jemilla Okeke, Esq., as Deputy Head of Chambers for Civil Litigation, and Hamzat Nuhu Dantani, Esq., as Deputy Head of Chambers for Criminal Litigation.

Together, this dynamic team is set to uphold Castle of Law’s legacy of excellence while steering the firm toward new frontiers.

The management expressed confidence in Prof. Akinola’s ability to lead the firm into a new era.
