City Boy Movement Inaugurated in Bayelsa: Ogbia Coordinator Vows Massive 2027 Votes for Tinubu.

With the official inauguration of the state and the local government coordinators of the City Boy Movement in Bayelsa State, the Ogbia LGA Coordinator, Abi Morris, has pledged to drive grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Speaking at the movement’s secretariat during the inauguration ceremony, Morris explained that although members had earlier been appointed, the formal inauguration was necessary to commence the group’s core mandate.

“The City Boy Movement is here to propagate and preach the laudable policies and programmes of Mr. President to the grassroots,” Morris said.

“The federal government is far from the localities, so it is our duty to bridge the gap between the electorate and the government. That is the reason we are here and why we are starting up activities to ensure President Tinubu is re-elected for a second term in office.”

Morris described the people of Ogbia as “willing, energetic, and ready” to vote for President Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

He attributed their support to Mr. President’s approval of the appointment of the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, adding that the Managing Director has performed “tremendously well” for Ogbia and the entire Niger Delta region.

“The only way the people of Ogbia can show appreciation for what Mr. President has done for them and Bayelsa at large is to vote massively for him to return to Aso Rock in 2027,” he stated.

Advising the youths in Bayelsa and Ogbia in particular, the coordinator urged them to shun violence and political thuggery.

“My advice for the youths is that they should not allow anybody to use them to perpetrate violence in the name of politics,” Morris said.

“They should go out on election day to vote for Mr. President so that we will continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy.”
